POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Management Com? mittee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held last evening, Mr H. E. Maude in the chair.
Tbo Committee appointed to interview Mr Thomson in regard to laying eowh a tmf wicket submitted their report, and it was decided to proceed with the wotk at once, so as to have the wicket ready for tho annual match with n>.iwko’s Bay. Mr Cyril While wrolo accepting tbo position of Vico-President, and promising assistance. Tho Secrotsty was instructed to write and thank Mr White for his generous offer. The following Saturdoy fixtures were drawn up :
TIRST ROUND : Saturday, November 10 —Wanderers v. United (Domain), Te Rau v. Taraberu (Tarubero). Saturday, November 17 —Tarubeiu v. Wanderers (Taruboni), Te Kin v. United (Domain), To Ran v. Wanderers (Domain), Tarubero v. United (Tarubero).
