Another amendment provided that the ico.il authority shall not arbitrarily refuse to take over a voluntary sobool unloss structurally iutllicionl or unnecessary. Tho Bishop of Horoford’s amendment provided that in rural areas whore there was only one school, whether it was oonnoil or voluntary, facilities for denominational loaohing shall be given every day at the expense of the denomination. The Archbishop of Canterbury olaims that tho House of Lords is only contending for reasonable liberty as sgainst unfair restriction.
