PRESS ASSOCIATION. Christchurob, last night. A total of 15.987 persons passed through the turnstiles at the Exhibition to-day, Dunedin, last night. The Chief Justice was engaged with a jury to day hearing the divorce oase of Hopgood v. Hopgood and Williams, hus» band’s petition on the grounds of aduliery. The Chief Justioo made an order that the details Bhowed net be published. The jury, after being in retirement, were unable to agree. The parties resided at Nevis.
Mr Bhrimpton’a house, destroyed by fire this afternoon, was insured for £9OO in the Standard Offioe, and the furniture for £4OO in the BBme office.
