Tho promonades at Nico and Cannes havo been destroyed. Mr James Gordon Bennett’s yacht Lyis trato has boon wrecked at Cannes. Shipping at Toulon has suffered greatly, Tho battleship Patrie, and tho frigate Laguorrioro broke adrift and wore secured with great difficulty. Tho coast is strewn with wreckage. A tidal wavo caused great damage at tho Ilyoros Islands. Received 4,52 p.in,, Nov. 1. Paris, Nov. 4. Tho storm wrecked nineteen miles of promenades along tho Riviera coass, doing a million pounds damage. At tho lioight of tho storm a number of übmarincs dived, remaining safely below until tho worst of tho storm was ovor. Four hundred fishing vessels were lost, though tliore were few casualties.
