GONDOLIERS DANCE.
The abovo dance was held at His Majesty's Thoatro last evening, about 80 cvuples participating. The floor was in excellent condition, the mnsie good, and a most enjoyable time ensued. Dancing commenced at eight o’clock, and from that time till long after midnight not a dull moment was spent. The following committees had oharge of the arraugem mts: —Gentlemen: Dr Buckeridgp, and Messrs R, Nolan, A. Seymour. A Zaohartah, W. Luttreil, F. Gumming, and Waymouth (bon. secretary). Lidles: Mrs Bnckeridg?, and Misses Adair, McOredie, Bright and Boylan. The stage was arranged with oomfortable settees in drawing room fashion. and from this coign of vantage a number of ladies watobed tbo spectacle. costumes of the merry Gondoliers thsair g with tbo more stately evening dress. Mesars Waymouth and Zachatihh were übiquitous and untiring in their efforts to mafia everybody comfortablo. Shorily after 10 o’clock the assembly adjourned for supper, whioh was supplied by the ladies, and a right good supper it was, everybody doing justioe to the good things provided. Tee programme had sixteen engagements besides extras, the mosia for the latter being supplied by the Misses Sweet, Clare, Simson, and Mr J. Dodd. The Grand loquißitor, Mr A F. Kennedy, who was confined to his bad through illness, was missed, as also several other members of the company who bad gone South. The opinion generally expressed at the conclusion was that the dauoe was one of the moßt eooiable, harmonious aud enjoyable held for a long time,
