Aimcc Soult, with a considerable advantage in weight, beat Field Gun over live furlongs in 1.19 1-5. Multifid led all the way in a gallop of 11 miles with Lyrist and Grenade, and finished sonic lengths in front in 2.44 2-5, after a good performance Star Bose beat Ironiuould by half a length over 1, miles, doing flic last mile in 1.49, but tlm latter pleased most. Cross Battery did five fuilongs from a standing start in. 1.5, a moderate performance. Paritulu defeated Tjcthcrin and Lapland over 1-j miles in 2,12 9-5. after a satisfactory gallop. Eono sprinted half a mile. Apollodoris, Astraclmn. and Pas Soul finished together over six furlongs in 1.18 4-5. Ellcrtou easily beat Grand Slam and Bourrasquo over a mile in 1.48 8-5. Intelligence was ridden out. but beat Mungistn by four lengths in a mile in 148 1-5.' Achilles did four furlongs easily in 50sec.
