LiOK OF INTEREST. Special to the Times. Wellington, last night. The Interest in the doiugs of Parliament may be gauged from the fact that when the House of Representatives met to-day there was only one solitary mm present to listen to tho eloquence of our legislators, and he did not stay long The ladies' gallery aud the five other galleries weire empty. Between 12 and 1 p.m, two Legislative Councillors, another ma 1, and a couple of youths drifted io, and li it-oned languidly to the eloquence of members, whose remarks on local Bills were mainly inaudible. FEEDING CALVES. The Minister for Agrioulluro says it is proposed at an early date to conduct i experiments at one of the State farms to ascertain the best and most profitable means of feeding calves otherwise than by means of a full milk diet.
