Dali outclassed his opponent McLaren in a dingdoDg game up to the last. Gillies is not up to the calibre of tho olher New Zealanders. Gillies was outpaced throughout. Againßi Sneddon Viotoria played right up to form. The captain was never seen to better advantage. Bauskill was beaten badly right from the start. Wheelßt played an exceptionally good gamp, which was one of the most exciting aod closest of the lot. They tied five times, entering upon the lasi, and level with 24, Wheeler had one bowl to play when nis opponents were lying two in. With a well direotei he bowl drew the shot, making two, and securing a viotory by two amidst applause. The scores were :
