A AND P. ANNUAL SHOW
Given fine weather for to-morrow and Wednesday, the annual Show of the A. and P. Sjoiety should bo an enormous sucooss, and tho attendance a record one. Entries bavo reached a much higher figure than previous yoarp, and tho interest evinoed in all classes by exhibitors is very gratifying. The Secretary (Mr H. M. Porter) and Committee havo worked hard to bring about this rosuP, and deserve credit for tbe forward state of their work. A great deal of work has been in progress on tho grounds, and visitors to Bbowß of previous years wbo attend this year find a great amount of improvement woik has been ecoomplisbod, The grand* stand oommands an excellent view of the rings, where the horeo events will be held, as well ns tbe cattio and sheep yards, and n lot of necessary levelling has been done. Permanent sfccrp yards have been erected opposite to '.bo ea-.tle yards, and are a distinct improvement in thtmsrlvee. Tho grounds aro in excellent condition, and no effort has bem spared by tbo Committee towards uibkmg everything comfortable for visitors.
Judging will proceed continuously during She morning of each day, and as tbe number of entries in the jumping and butter olnssa? i- abnormal, tfcnsa events will be spread ovor both days ol Snow.
An exhibition of swi tt-making and sugar-boiling is one of tho attractions in the large shed, while numerous side shows, eu’., will provide amusement for «he younger people. Private exhibitors are laying ihemeGlves out to m>ko au attractive di-play, and ihe machinery exhibit promises to bo a good one Several changes have bren made in the jadg&’s list. Hrß.
