Ytsterday afternoon Holy Trinity Church was tho soene of a pretty wedding, when the Rav. L. Dawson Thomas united in the bands of matrimony Miss Irene Harding, eldest daughter of Mr J. A. Harding, of Gisborne, to Mr Godfrey F. Wilson, san of Mr W. 0. Wilson, Launceston, Tasmania. A large crowd of friends, and relatives were present at tbe churoh to see the ceremony, and many £1 igs were flown in different parts of the town, as well as by the shipping in port, in honor of tbo event. The bride was given away by her father, and wa3 attended by Misses D, Jjnos, E. Simson, Lena Hawley, and Nancy Harding as bridesmaids. Mr J, Saunders was best man, and Mr J. Harding groomemau. Tho dress worn by the brido was of soft ivory tioted material, with full traiD, the skirt beiog handsomely trimmed with silk chiffon ruchings, arranged in true lovers’koot. Au embroidered yoke and pretty bertha of duohesse laoe adorned tho bodice; the bride also wore an exquisitely embroidered veil oovered with a wreath of oraDge blossoms, Misses Jones and Simson wore pink silk, trimmed wish ersnm French silk laos, with white tulio hats, pink plumes aud roses, and carried shower bouquets of pink and white roses. The two little girls, Lena Hawley ond Nancy Harding, were dressed in cream silk, with eroam s.lk bonnets to match, and carried crooks adorned with white i'o3ss, Mrs Harding, mother of the brido, wore a skirt of black satia mar voilleax, with a dainty E npire ooat of saino material, trimmed with accordeoopleatod chiffon, aud handsome blaok silk applique trimmings and a white cbiffjn toque. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to Haiti, where they were entertained at the residence of the bride’s paroats. The bridegroom's present to the brido was a poarl pendant. Similar gifts of pearl pendants were made to Misses Jones and Simson, and pearl and ruby brooches to the Misses Hawley and Harding. Mr and Mrs Wilson left last night for Wellington on their honeymoon,
