KRONSTADT EXECUTIONS

Farther details of the execution of nineteen naval mutineers at Kronstadt, cabled on tbe sth, are available. Seventeen of tho condemned men aooepted priests’ ministrations, while two refused. The officer reading aloud the sentences was stopped through the prisoners singing a revolutionary funeral hymn. The prisoners wore tied to a rope stretched between two posts. Their request not to havo aacka placed over their heads wa3 refused. The firing party was drawn from the Light lafaotry, who, like the prisoners, were Bhivoring with odd. They muddled tbe firing of a volley. They killed only three outright.
