STRENGTHENING THE FORGES. PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 4.38 p.m., Ootober 14. Cairo, October 13. A now Soudanese battalion is being formed to strengthen the Egyptian army. The Arab battalion is also being strengthened, and a company of Kordofau Arabs is being recruited to strengthen the camel corps, but the cavalry have been reduced by a squadron.
