The City Council resolved that in view of the traffic inspector’s report that the Tramway Company had only supplied two extra cars in response to the Council’s notice, and as, in the opinion of tho Council, such an additional number does not adequately meet the requirements of traffic, notice be given to the Company that the Council intends to proceed to recover a fine of £8 per day imposed by the deed of delegation.
