THE LAND BILL.
(Special to Timea.) Wellington, last night.
The Land Bill was further considered by tbe Lands Committee this morning, bnt not finally dealt witb. Another sitting will be held to-morrow. MEMBERS ILL.
Mr Izard, M.Q.R., is ill in a private hospital, and Mr Aitken is laid up with influenza. Mr Eirkbride is also in the hands of the doctor. EXPERIMENTAL DAIRY SOHOOL
The Government Bill to'provide for an experimental dairy sohool was introduced in tho House of Representatives to-day. Seotion 32 block 3 in the Waimate survey district (Taranaki), on the West Coast of the North Island, containing 90 acres, was reserved for a sohool of agriouiture, but not usod lor that purposo, and the Bill introduced by Mr McNub provides that it shall now be reserved as an endowment for the purpose of establishing an expert mental dairy sohool in such manner as the Minister directs. All rents and profits therefrom are to be paid into a spec al account to be called the " Experimental Dairy Sohool Aooo'unt,” and the Colonial Treasurer may from time to time pay therefrom any expenses incurred by the Minister for Agriouiture in tho establish meat, support, and maintenance of tho eaid experimental dairy school.
