AN IMPUDENT FORGERY.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Auckland, last night. O.i Safu day laas a young man presented a cheque for over £2OO at tbe Bank of New South Wales. The cheque was oaehed in notes. It subsequently transpittd that the cheque was a forgery, the name of a city solioisor beffig used, It is understood the man who oashed the cheque was a pa-BeDgar by the Victoria, due to arrive at Sydney to day.
