HOME RULE.
MR REDMOND'S SPEECH,
PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 10.22 p.m., September 25. London, S3pt. 25. Irish Unionists are surprised at the disappointment and distress that Mr Redmond’s speeoh has provoked among the Liberal party. The Times says that it is needless for Radioals to be perturbed. When the time comes the Nationalists will obey Sir H. Campbell Bannerman’s exhottatioD, and take all they can get by instalments, but not thankfully. The Daily News declares that though it is more imperative than the ooeasion demands, “ Mr Redmond’s tpßech,” the News states, “ need not disturb the Liberals. Mr Redmond is aware that the Liberals are unable at present to fulfil their pledge to concede Homo Rule, but he will not therefore reduce their chance of ultimate auooees by becoming au instrument of English anti-Liberal Catholicism,”
The Tribune says: " The Liberals are not offering a half measure of reform, but an instalment which by aprooess of evolution can end only iu the restoration of full self-government to Ireland, Even administrative Homs Rule will end the whole system of ascondancy rule.”
