EARTHQUAKES.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Christohurcb, Saturday. Just before twenty mioutes to eight this morning a slight Bbock of earthquake was experienced in the city. A light shock of earthquake was felt at Hanmer at eight o’olook this morning. Il is reported that there was a shock of earthquake at Cheviot at eight o’clock this morning. A boarding house was severely shaken, and a large amount of crockery brekeD. As far as could be ascertained no other damage was done. The earthquake was also felt at Rangiora and Kaiapoi.
