A deputation of the Grey Borough Council waited on the Harbor .Hoard yesterday afternoon in regard to the stoppage of the survey at l’oint Elizabeth Tho Hoard after hearing the deputation, passed a resolution accordingly, urging o • the Government to complete the survey of the harbor. Christchurch, last night. The annual horse parade of of tin Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held oil the Show Grounds at Addington this afternoon. Forty one draught horses and twenty-two light horses, including several imported hackneys and trotters, were entered. Messrs W. J. J. Charters (Mosgicl) and P. Davison (Timaru) were the judges.
