PRESS ASSOCIATION Wanganni, last night. The football match between Otago and Wanganui was played to day in excellent weatber, and resulted in an easy viotory for Otago by 26 points to 5. In the first epeil, which ended with the score Otago 8 points to 5, the play was fairly even, bat in the second half the Wanganui defence fell to pieoe', and Otago ran ap 18 points, The Wanganui forwards played a good game, but Otago outplayed those of Wanganui.
To-morrow afternoon a football ma‘oh will be played between representatives of tho banks and law combined and the mercantile house?. Toe team to represent the banks and law will be selected from the following : —Rangi, Butler, Oarr, Broughton, Kaipara, McOredie, Luttrell, Johnston, EL Bright, P. Tarei, G. Wtllook, 8 Coleman, G. Smith, 0. Hamilton, Bar* gisson, and Cato. The mercantile team is: Waymouth, Nolsd, Rowe, Pallets Robinson, 8. Roderiob, Willock, J. Rode* riok, Hansen, Golebourne, Dines, Hamilton, Malone, Bright, and Niooias.
