FLEEING FROM THE ASSASSINS
PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT St. Petersburg, Sept. 17. For rußbing at and tryiDg to strike Count de Witte in the baths at Seden, near Wiobadon, a Russian student named Rosoborg was arreßtod. A revolver and dagger wero found in his possession. Rooeived 10.36 p.m , Sept. 18. St. Petersburg, Sept. 18. An unknown assailant with a revolver wounded Gonoral Dorgskcviky, ft member of the court-martial at Warsaw. Tho murder of Thuscb, a German subject at Rigo, and a wealthy manufacturer, led to Germany making a remonstrance with Russia.
Official telegrams announce that for four days ending the fifteenth, eighty soldiers, polioemeD, and officials, and eighty eight private individuals were killod, whilo seven soldiers, policßmoD, and officials, and one hundred and thirty-three private persona wero wounded, in armed encounters in Ruesia Seven mansions and eighty-one houses were burnt. Twenty-six persons were sentenced to death and seventeen to penal servitude. Sixteen soldiers and policemen and four oivilians were killed durffig robberies. Eight were killed during disturbances in prisons. Count de Witte is undergoing an operation for an affection of the throat. Berlin, Sept 18.
A special Royal train from Russia passed through Berlin for Brussels and Paris. According to two Berlin newspapers it contained several Grand Dukes and Duchesses migrating to escape assassination.
