Tho annus! general meeting of tha SVandtrers’ Oiiokit Club was held in the British Empiro Hotel last ovoniog, Mr G. B. Oman presiding. There was a good attendanco of members, and tho proceedings were of an enthusiastic nature. _ The club was only formed at the conclusion cf the eeaBOD, taking up the Patutahi Club’s fixtures in the second round. Tbe interest thus croated by the inclusion of tha n w olub was ma’ntained by several very enjoyable games against each of the old clubs.
Too election of offioera resulted ss follows President, Mr D. J. Barry j vicepresidents, Messrs G. B. Omar, D. F. H pbutn, J. J. Martin, R. S. Caulton, and J H. Martin; seciotary and treasurer, Mr El. E. Maude ; captain, Mr P. S. MoColl ; vice-captain, Mr J. O’Hara ; ground com mi'tee, Messrs McOoll, D. Barry, O’Dodmil, and West; general ccmmitte?, Messrs D. Barry, S. MoConnell, W.
and Maude ; delegates, Mosßrs Maude and Barry ; Bolootion committee, Moasra McCall and O’Hara.
Tho following now memhora wero olootod:—Moaaro O'Doa, Ilbort, J. Dovery, Logge, Ooxboud, and Colthart. Tho dohgates woro instructed to bring beforo tho Association tho adviaability of providing a trophy for oompotition hotwocn tho clubs. It was resolved that tho olub was prepared to olTor a guinea, in addition to tho affiliation fee, to go towards auoh a trophy, provided tho other oluba did likowisn.
It was agrcod that tho colors of tho club bo ambor and black, and mombora expressed a wish that all members of tho team should turn out in maiohoa in tho orthodox white.
I Tho Chairman notifiod that ho would agnin present a bat to tho club. Tho opouing matob will bo held at an early date. A speoial veto of tbauka waa tendered to Mr West for the excellent manner in whioh ho had laid down tho pitch, whioh iii now availablo to teams coming to play tho Wandorrrs. It was mentioned that the green would bo playable on the 27th inst., tbo Batisfaotory manner in whioh Mr West has done his work makingit possible to havo a match playod on tho dato namod.
A hearty vote of thanks to tho Chair man terminated the mooting,
