The Tribune, in an article, states that it would welcome tbe same intimaoy with Germany as with Franoe if her aims were the same degree identical with ours. The possibility of oo operation would be'given if Germany could see any way tc abandon the old role as the convinced defender of militarism, and be less resolutely proislamio on suoh questions as Morocco and Macedonia.
Queen Wilholmina has approved of tbe Navy League. The Daily Telegraph’s Rome correspondent states that a renewal of tbe Triple Allianos is being negotiated. Italy insists on better protection of her interests in the Mediterranean and Balkans.
