MAORI PETITIONS.
{Special to Times.) Wellington, last night. Tho Native Affairs Committee has no recommendation to make regarding the petition of To Ira ltangihuia, praying for an enquiry into sale ofKaraka No. 5 block, which she alleges was carried out in an illegal manner. A similar report was presented regarding the petition of H- P. Waaka and eight others, of Muriwai, praying for a rehearing of the partition of P aritu block, also in regard to the petition of Karepa, Kuhukuhu and four others, of Whareongaonga, for a rehearing in connection with the succession to the late Hirini Toparc in respect to Wharcongonga and Tepuninga blocks.
