Tho Minister for Labor on Saturday indicated to a deputation from the Waterside Workers’ Federation some amendments which would probably be made in tho Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Aot. The Ministor said be intended to get a fair trial for conoili ition. He thooght permanent Boards should each consist of five members, representatives of eaoh side to any dispute to sit with the Board, making tho number five. This meant that permanent numbers' would get prsotioal information from experts. It would be impossible to get a bald clause through tbe House giving statutory preference to unionist), but ho hoped to put a clause before his colleagues which might give some of the advantages claimed,
