Members complained that under the amended conditions there could be no bettiog on racecourses. Mr Wade said the intention of the Government was to drive betting out of the streets, aud localise it oo the raoeoourses, He gave an assurance that the Government representative in the Upper House would have Buoh amendments submitted as would remove ambiguity io the matter.
