Bt. Petersburg, August 28. Two women, prolcssing to he the wife ml servant of one of M. Stolypin’s as-
sailants, were actually concerned in the crime. Scores of arrests have heen made. Troops surrounded the whole streets of Vassal,V Island, One assailant, who is in the hospital grievously wounded, apparently is a student at dliga University.
The explosive force of the bomb was tervilic, tearing oil legs, hands, and cars, and completely eviscerating one body and burning the eyes out of another. M. Stolypin declares that he will continue to enforce his policy. Twenty-four bombs and eight dynamite cartridges have heen discovered at Riga. It is reported at St. Petersburg that 21 of the crew of the battleship I’antellimon seized a cutter, landed at Bcrizan Island, and planted a red Hag over the spot where Lieut. Scmidt was executed. R jvolutionary meetings have again been held aboard the Black Saa fleet. _ At Wareaw social democrats advise woikmen to refuse to pay rent as an answer to the attempt to enfotce payment by terrorism.
