PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT Reoeived 1.5 a.m., August 27. St. Petersburg, August 26. M. Stolypin, the Premier, was holding a reception in a villa at Apothecary Island. The room were orowded. Four men drove up in a carriage and pair, two of the men being dressed as offic rs. One, carrying a bomb in his helmet, dropped it accidentally in the antechamber, and a terrible explosion occurred. The whole of the o.ntre of the house was blown out.
Twenky-threo people were killed, including el! the four conspirator?. Twenty-seven were injured. M. Stclypin’s fifteeu-year old daughter, who was upstairs, had both of her Kgs shattered. The legs were amputated, but the girl afterwards Bucoumbed. His infant son had his leg broken. M. Dandoff, Court Chamberlain, end M. Koostoff, ex-Governor of Penzi, were killed.
M. Stolypin was not injured, though tho door of his room was torn from its binges.
