_ Atelbourne, A ugust 20. Communications which have passed between Sir Joseph Ward and Air Daakinresulted iu a complete agreement with respect to reciprocal tariff preferences. The arrangement ratifies the conferences between Mr Soddon, Mr Deakin, and Sir William Lyno. The agreement will bo laid on the table of the Houses in both countries simultaneously on August 28 The usual resolutions will bo at onco moved, and preferences become operative forthwith.
