It also acclaimed a Bill to prevent adulteration of wine and braudy. It prohibits the use of oano sugar, salicylic acid, and other foreign substance. Proper labelling was made oompulaory. Mr J. X. Merriman created a sensation by remarking that it was almost impossible to obtain a good botilo of Cape wine.
