It destroyed a block oi buildings ktsottu as Munro’s Corner, Tbo following places were destroyed : Ganaao, taiior j Wnliams, store and auction mart ; Morchard, draper end clothier. The insurancss are : Oa the buiidir.g £SOO ; Gannon £250, Merchard £ls, F. F. Williams £4900,
Carterton, Saturday, A seven roomed bouse, with dairy attached, owned by Mrs E. Cadwallader, and occupied by Edward Martin, wes totally destroyed by fito at 3 o’clcce this morning. Tbo insurances are £250 on the bouse end £l3O on Martin s belongings, both in tho Alliance.
