Tote shops will be quarantined, and every person entering liablo to a fine. Any person can bring a case before a Supreme Court Judgp, and if he can prove ex perto that reasonable grounds exist far helieviog the building is used for gambling purposes, the occupier may bo called on to prove to the contrary. 8.-tdng will be declared illegal, though not necessarily a punishable offence, but bittmg debts are not recoverable at law. Probably betting will not bo prohibited on the raoeocurse or in a private house, but will be everywhere else. There is a heavy fine for the first offence, and imprisonment for the second.
