The trainer was surprised yesterday to find that Mahutengi’s oil fore leg had filled. Some slight improvement under tbe veterinary surgeon baa taken plaoe, but both the veterinary surgeon and trainor are doubtful whether the horse will be able te fulfil the Spring meeting engagements.
