Charles Clayton was admitted to Waikato I lospital yesterday suffering from an accident which occurred at Oeo, on the Main Trunk railway works. A loaded truck ran over his left leg. causing a compound fracture. There are grave fears regarding his recovery.

Andrew Gilmore, single, aged -Id years, committed suicide by cutting his throat early this morning. Deceased was a casual laborer, and had been drinking lately. At the inquest the jury returned a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane.
