Tbo concart to be given in His M-.jsaiy’a Theatre this evening in aid of the City Band funds, promises to be one of the mod successful of the senacn. A first c uss programme has been prepared, and a number of items that call for special at-
tention a>o down on tbo bill Miss Madoiinn Knight, of Auckland, will sing by ep'Oiai requ-'-t, ‘'Toe Soul'ti A wakening,” and also in duet with M<- Brownlee, “ Ob. Fairy W»nd, bad 1 the Power ” Mrs Collins, a r, cent arrival in Gisborne, will contribute two favorite numbers, ‘‘Douglas Gordon ” and " Toe Irish Immigrant.” Miss Redstone, who is always a favorite web looal concert goers, is down for "Love the Pedlar,” The above, with the other items on the programme, should warrant a crowded house.
The box.plan’for the dress circle and orchestra stalls ig now open at Mr Wm. Miller’s.
