PRESS ASSOCIATION Gore, last night. . !J?be Moo. R. Mcßab is to be banqueted by his constituents as a mark of their gratification on his elevatioa to Cabinet rank. Tho function will be held at Gore on Tuesday, August 14ib, The Premier, Hon. J. A. Millar, and tho district M.H.R. are to bo invited. It is worth noting that two successive representatives for Mataura, Messrs G. F, Richardson and McNab, have oooupied the post of Lands Minister. Another concidenoe is that the Hod. Mr McNab’s appointment was made on the fifth anniversary of the death of Sic John McKenzie.
