COOK COUNTY COUNCIL. ABPEOIAL ORDER made by the Cook County Counoil on Friday, 27th July, 1906: Resolved that in accordance with the provisions cl Section 107 of the Lcoal Bodies Loans Act, 1901, this Counoil does now proceed by Speoial 0 der to levy the several Special Bates, which were made to provide the interest on Loans raised by the Arai, Wbataupoko, and Kaili Road Boards, which Boards have been dissolved and the districts “merged” into the County. RATES LEVIED BY LATE ARAI ROAD BOARD,

(1) A rate of two farthiDgs in £1 to provide interest on a Loan of £ISOO for Arai-Waimata Road. (2) A rate of jy of a penny in the £1 to provide interest on a Loan of £6OO for bnildiDg Arai Bridge. (3) A rale of two farthioga in £1 to provide iotertsi on a Loan of £1172 for Tokonui Road. (4) A rata of 1 sih of a penny in £1 to provide interest on a Loan of £69C for Hangspoiki Road. RATES LEVIED BY LATE WHATAUPOKO ROAD BOARD. (1) A ra‘e of 9-16 of a penny in £ to provide interest on a loan of £2,300 for metalling streets in North Qisborne. (2) A rate of one penny in the £ to provide interest on a loan of £2OO for metalling Riverside Rood. (3) A rate of nine farthings in the £ to provide interest on a loan of £4OO for roads in Mangapapa Block. (4) A Rate of twopence in the £ to provide interest on a Loan of £IOO for Upper Fox Sfreet. (5) A Rate of threepence in the £ to provide interest on a Loan of £IOO for Matokitoki Road.

R&TES LEVIED BY LITE KAITI BOARD. (1) A Rite of two farthiDgs in the £ to provide interest on a Loan oi £ISOO for making streets in Kaiti. (2) A Rate of three farthings in the £ to provide interest on a Loan of £2OO for Darwin Road. (3) A Rato of two farthings in the £ to provide interest on a Loan of £2OOO for making Btreets in Kaiti. That these Rates be oolleoted year by year for the remainder of the several periods for whiob the Rates were levied, and be reduced to saoh amount as may be sufficient to provide the annual interest, The Counoil will meet to confirm this Speoial Order on SATURDAY, 25th August, 1906, J.
