MUSSS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT Melbourne, July 20. Swerper has been scratched for the Steeplechase, and Canto, Oadenja, Waratab and Reve.la'ion for the Hardies. The Vio'oria Raoing Club’s annual re port submi a several alterations in the rules, including a stipulation that in the oveot of a dead heat in two-year-old events the raoe shall not be run off, but the stake divided ; that the age and identity of any horse foaled outside the Commonwealth must be established, and the fact that such has'not been disqualified proved, otherwise the horse and parties ooccerned may be disqualified.
