He was traduced and slandered by. Parliament and the Ministry. He was arrested in a cowardly way, and otuelly thrust into a Kaffir prison. He was charged with a crime wbiob they knew was trivial and political. Ho rcmaiked that when he got olose to his detraotors he would dash the braiDS Out of some of thun.
