Referring to Ibo report, d case of 1 prosy at Waika>emoana, Dr. Pomare, Native Health Officer, thinks it may be on'-y a false alarm. "W 6 koow absolutely nothing about it,’' he stairs; "so far the only lepera to our know’edgj are three, who a r e isolated as far as pcs-ible. ote of them is at Wa"g inui, and the others are further north. They have been removed from their family circle', and persons have been appointed to look a'ter them." It is understood, however, that isolation Is not oompl. te, but that it is intended by Government to have these sulj'ots quarantined c’ose enough to meet all oritichm.
