AN APPOINTMENT.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, last night, The Minister for Mines has approved of the selection of Mr G. Fairfield, of PetoDe, as oFotrical instructor st the Thames School of Mines at a salary of £2OO per annnm. Mr Fai-field is at present on the staff of the railway workshops at Petohe, end he is also in charge of the eleotrioal engineering class at Petone Technical Sohool.
