TRESS ASSOCIATION, Palmerston North, last night. In consequence of heavy floods in the Manawatu and Oroua rivers a portion of the railway line at O.ooa bridgs OD d Baineeee, between here and Fcxtoo, is several feet under water, on a section temporarily suspending traffic. A large tract of country at Oroua Downs is also under water, though the undulating nature of the land has enabled Btook to find a place of safety, and no losses in this respeot are expected.
