LABOR PROTEST.
PRESS ASSOCIATION ' Dunodin, last night. At a mooting of the Trades and Labor Counoil a resolution was passed protesting against the giving of twelve months' leave of absence on full pay to some of the high salaried men in the Council’s employ, while at the samo time dismissing low wages men in the dead of winter, and pleading that finances would not permit of their being employed.
