In spite of the prohibition of opinm, considerable quantities have continued to find their way into tho Commonwealth, notwithstanding the vigilance of tho Customs officials. Suspecting that it came by way of Canada, the officials kept a sharp look-out. To-day they were rewarded by a seizure of 900 tins, of tho value of £ISOO, aboard the Miowera. It was discovered aftor the cargo had been discharged, stored away under loose boarding.
