About 2400 Roman coins, enclosed b an urn, have boen found near the anient Roman toad between Evreux and Obartcs. They bear the heads of Julius Cisar, Marcus Aurelius, tha Empress Fausino, and others, and some qrc medals QmW9fflota6ivo Qf battles.
