Tho first away wero Abdallah and Bombast™. The latter led oat of the straight. Stookmun fell nt tho treble. Passing tho stand tbs order was Officer, Boiadalo, Springfield, Up-to-dato, Abdallah, Decoration, and Syringa. Tho stonewall proved fatal loLothorin, Barnot, aDd Gonoral. Syrioga took charge at tbs far turn, whoro ho lad Boisdalo by throo lengths, with Decoration five longtbs away, Decoration hoaded tho leod’or before ths abattoirs wore roaobed. At the sheds Decoration had a good load from Syringa, with Springfield and Bollis next. Bollis put in a fast run, hut novor oame nearer the londors, Drooration running homo a very easy winner by fiftoon lengths, Syringa beating Bollis by four lengths. The Wellington Racing Clnb was again favored with fino wootber for tho concluding day of its winter meeting. There was a Jargo attendance, which inoludod tho Governor and party. Tho course, though drier than on tho first day, was somewhat stioky, and an interesting afternoon’s sport was provided. Irish appropriated the Siocpleoboso in fino stylo, and Cuiragno had no difficulty in downing his field iu the Fin si Hurdlo Handicap, Superior horsemanship on the part of Jenkins enabled Maui to score a meritorious win in the Winter Oats Handicap. The amount put through tho machine (including £1556 on the double machine) totalled £15,421, as against £11,313 for tho corresponding meeting oi last year. A sum of £26,876 was put through the machine for the two days, as oompared with £21,727 for the winter mooting of last year. Thu winning combination in the Steeplechase (Irish) and Winter Oats (Maui) paid out £7 7s for each £1 invested. Tho results were
