Six passengers were killed and twenty injured.

The omnibus oarried thirty six poniokers, chiefly married tradesmen At Orpington, descending a bill, the brak s failed and the omnibus ran away and crushed into an o ik tree with terrific speed. Ten were killed and 26 injured.
