Lord Avebury said it would bo time to talk of preference when Great Britain and Canada started on equality of duties. Mr Beale, of Sydney, and Mr B9auohamp, of New Zealand, Warmly eap ported the resolution. Mr Beale promised Mr Chamberlain a maguifioent rcoeption if he visited Australia.
