(Fat Praia Annotation.) Carterton, last night. At a public mooting last night it was decided to support a N.X. National Scddon Memorial to bo erected in Wellington, the capital city; that the Mayor of Wellington bo requested to invite each electorate in the colony to send one delegate to a conferonco at Wellington at an early date to consider the nature of the memorial : and that Government be urged to set aside the Mount Cook site for a Memorial Technical College, the College to be free to students from all parts of the colony who possess the qualifications. Mr Hornsby, the member, was appointed delegate to a public mooting in Wellington on Wednesday night.
