By telegraph, Pmbb Ass’n, CoDyright
Received 11.4 p.m , July 10. Sydney, July 10 The tramway employees are settled in their determination to refuse a departmental enquiry into their grievances, and to demand a Royal Commission. At a meeting to-day the President of the Union said, the public could rest assured the Union would do nothing to precipitate the service into anything that would cause disaster. He stated that a certain movement had taken place to get him to return to duty. He hinted that the action was in the nature of a bribe.
A driver named Kelly accuses the superintendent of the tram service of attempting to bribe him and create dissension in the Union. The superintendent denies the accusation.
