An enquiry into the Northern Wairoa hospital was held before Mr Dyer, S.M., Messrs J. Ross and T. Webb, Oommis- I sioners, on Friday. Mr J. D. Mr G. 11. Munro, secretary of tlic H.B. A. ami P. Society, tendered his resignation with .-egret, lie having decided to relinquish office work in favor of sheepfarming. The chairman remarked that it was an unfortunate thin" for ths society. Replying to Mr Coleman, Mr Munro said he had resigned not on account of dissatisfaction, but simply because he had seen an opportunity of obtaining a suitable property in Marlborough, and lie had done so.
